Responsibilities
System & network administration
- Setup and operation of cloud environments (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP).
- Backup of environments as well as mirroring to another data center.
- VPN, tunnels, firewall/external access.
- Databases - PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL
- Troubleshooting with third party service providers (providers, software vendors)
- DNS entries
- Monitoring

Software administration
- Applying for system and application software.
- Installation & updates of system and application software.
- Administration of licenses
- Monitoring the proper use of installed software.
- Administration of Jenkins, Git, and more.

Information Security
- Internal control system
- Certification topics (PS951, ISO27001)
- Information security (ORGA)

Security
- security of all computers (servers and PCs) and all network components.

internal topics
- management of virtual machines, setup of new environments (DEV & PROD)
- Implementation of new projects & introduction of applications
- Review of performance and feedback from the project areas for e.g. newly installed software, upgrade of VM resources etc.

Requirement:
Technical
- Education or studies in the field of computer science (preferably in the field of system integration)
- Very good knowledge in the area of cloud platforms, especially:

Amazon Web Services
Google Cloud Platform
Very good knowledge in the area of containerized environments with Docker, Kubernetes and common CI/CD platforms
- Good knowledge in the area of Linux/Unix system administration
- Good knowledge in Infrastructure as code (Terraform, ...)
- Good knowledge of automation technologies (Ansible, ...)
- Knowledge of common scripting languages (Bash, Perl, PHP, ...)
- Knowledge of database administration, maintenance and operations, especially with:

AWS RDS (PostgreSQL)
Google Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL)
Communication skills
- Helpfulness
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work independently

Non-technical
- English spoken and written
- Willingness to work outside of business hours
