Description:
Company is the leading provider of dynamic management systems for next generation satellite payloads. As a Systems Engineer, you will provide leadership and technical expertise, working with the program and technical leadership to manage the technical aspects of a large software development program for our next generation of satellite communications software management and optimization systems. You will be responsible for the full systems engineering lifecycle from requirements analysis through design, development, integration, test, acceptance, delivery and support.

Responsibilities:
- Define system requirements and specifications
- Perform requirements definition and allocation, functional analysis, design trade studies, and interface definition
- Translate customer requirements into system specifications
- Support integration and test and evaluate test results
- Investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution

Requirement:
- 5 years system engineering lifecycle, including all phases of the development lifecycle
- 5 years of experience in technical management, integration, and test of complex software design / development programs
- Experience in requirements management spanning development, definition, analysis and verification
- Experience in facilitating cross-corporation Technical Interface Meetings and/or technical and project management working groups
- Experience envisioning and communicating complex architecture strategy, plans, roadmaps, and drawings to stakeholders to communication of ideas and to enable the customer's decision process.
- Experience to create, maintain, and communicate critical architecture and system engineering artifacts
- Experience in developing mission-critical or high availability real-time software a plus
- Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., MATLAB, DOORS)
- Experience in agile and incremental software development methodologies
- Satellite system experience, including ground and payload design and operation

Education: Bachelors or greater in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical degrees with demonstrated experience
