Description:
Seeking Engineering CAD Associate to work in Operations and Manufacturing department of a pioneering technology company that employs a dedicated team of world-class engineers, operations experts, marketers, and sales professionals with a shared passion for energy storage.

Must have a background in mechanical, electrical or architectural AutoCAD drafting and project set up experience. Desire an outgoing, dynamic personality with a proven track record, excellent communication skills, consistent work ethic and a desire to be a part of one of the fastest growing companies in the energy storage industry.

Responsibilities:
- Perform Electrical or Mechanical AutoCAD Drafting Designs in AutoCAD 2016
- Set up project templates
- Coordinate with 3rd party engineers and drafters regarding DWG setup
- Plot PDFs for plan check
- Perform basic thermal storage design (will be trained)
- Coordination with reprographics companies
- Coordinate with Client to maintain schedule
- Coordinate with Client for site access as necessary
- Perform site surveys (will be trained)

Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Occasionally will be required to support warehouse team
- Occasionally support field team
- Periodically early hours to support field teams

Requirement:
- Min 3 Years Experience in MEP Drafting. HVAC and Electrical preferred.
- Design Build Experience - Desirable
- Familiar with drafting in AutoCAD 2016
- Experience as CAD Manager-Preferred
- Some familiarity with both HVAC and Electrical scopes of work per the building construction world, expert in at least 1 - Req'd
- Experience overseeing projects as CAD manager - Desirable
- Experienced with AutoCAD - Desirable
- Experience with Design/Build - Desirable
- Experience with resource management
- Strong leadership skills, communications skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills and organization skills
