Description:
Seeking self-motivated Project Manager with experience in coordinating projects across all functions of the business and delivering them on time and within budget. The successful candidate will work directly with internal and external customers to understand the project requirements and disseminate them across all the involved functions to ensure compliance. She or he will hold periodic project reviews to get status, understand issues and de-risk them. This position is part of the Engineering R&D organization and the successful candidate must understand the environment of developing new products while supporting existing ones.

The responsibilities and duties associated with this position include:
- Meet with internal and/or external clients to clarify specific requirements of each project
- Create comprehensive project plans that meet customers' expectations, including product cost, requirements adherence and timelines
- Work closely with the development team to breakdown the project tasks and assign action items
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long term goals
- Develop, implement and manage mitigation plans if and when project progress deviates from plan; to ensure successful and timely completion
- Track expenditure of each project
- Hold periodic project reviews to obtain status and ensure compliance. Provide management with updates.

Requirement:
- Bachelors of Science degree in an engineering discipline is required
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management
- Experience in managing projects consisting of mechanical, electrical, vision/optical and software subsystems
- Experience in development of capital equipment employed to support customer manufacturing operations desired
- Familiarity with MS Project, or similar software, and Excel
- PMP Certification
- Excellent written, and verbal, communication skills
