Description:
Seeking mid-level web developer. This position could start as permanent or contract, and could later become permanent.</br> </br> The Web/Database Developer is responsible for building, maintaining, debugging and enhancing web sites, landing pages/forms and utilities we create for our clients. Most of our applications are data-centric, collecting and managing our clients' consumer & business contact data. These applications are all Microsoft based and are primarily built using both C#.NET, ASPX and ASMX, HTML and Object-Oriented JavaScript. Most applications make extensive use of SQL Server back-end databases. </br> </br> RESPONSIBILITIES:</br> - Build applications with a focus on application code and database connectivity (JavaScript, C#, etc.) over CSS and web design</br> - Develop, maintain and debug C# Web Services. Also PHP web services. </br> - Develop and debug underlying SQL and transact-SQL stored procedures </br> - Basic UML / white boarding competency </br> - Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date functional and technical documentation

Requirement:
- 2 - 4 years development experience </br> - C#.NET </br> - SQL </br> - HTML </br> - JavaScript / JQuery </br> </br> Additional Experience a Plus </br> - LAMP stack, in particular PHP </br> - Open-source CMS experience (Drupal and Joomla, in particular) </br> - Understanding of / hands-on Object-Oriented development, patterns and frameworks </br> - Web Services development (both clients and servers) </br> - XML/JSON </br> - Recommendations for development and testing tools, deployment and hosting </br> </br> ENVIRONMENT:</br> - Frequently fast-paced environment with short delivery times </br> - Must be able to accommodate changes in requirements and to manage conflicting priorities </br> - Excellent verbal and written communication skills required - ability to interact with both project management personnel and clients </br> - Open to feedback and technical design direction from Senior developers </br> - Self-starter - ability to "own" & manage tasks independently and with minimal supervision </br> </br> Benefits: include health, dental, vision, 401k, and stock purchase plan.
