Description:
The Software Engineer will be part of a team dedicated to help advance the company's software technology. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading existing .NET and VB6 solutions as well as helping to architect, design, implement, and deploy new solutions. Strong verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners at various levels are essential to the success of this candidate.

Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience using C# </br> - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and/or equivalent work experience related to Computer Science </br> - Ability to demonstrate fundamental computer programming concepts like algorithms, data structures, and OOP </br> - Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a group </br> - Document technical designs using flow charts, class diagrams, data flow diagrams, descriptive software component documentation etc. as required </br> - Perform unit testing and resolve any issues / bugs by debugging and troubleshooting the code </br> - Perform customer and in-house technical support </br> - Perform other related duties as assigned in accordance with overall job responsibilities </br> - Help to achieve the completion of all projects within budget and on schedule</br></br> A Plus: </br> - Design and develop WPF or Win Forms based solutions for engineering software applications (no website or IT development) </br> - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress </br> - Skilled in high level programming languages, e.g. C++, FORTRAN, or JAVA </br> - Experience with TDD, writing Unit and Integration Tests </br> - Knowledge of and experience in applying design pattern and software development best practices </br> - Strong working knowledge of current UI approaches and best practices </br> - Experience with source control </br></br> To apply for this position please submit an MS Word doc of your resume and put in the subject "Job ID # 1819".
