Description:
Seeking Software Engineer with software development experience to design and build system management software for a large corporation server network. Create state of the art software to manage and optimize leading edge technology stack for best performance, scalability, and high availability. Build management software for various components including HDD, Infiniband HCA switches, Flash PCI, system processors and overall system performance. Deliver stable and highly available system performance using preventive and proactive handling of local device failures, component problems, and hardware resets.

This is an extremely challenging area, where you will use your deep knowledge and extensive experience in building management software for a large, parallel, scale-out and storage architecture. The position will be critical by staying ahead of technology curve on the latest technology breakthroughs in processing, networking, flash and disk storage.

Requirement:
- BS in Computer Science, MS or PhD preferred
- 10+ years of development experience
- Linux development platform
- Experience in Service Processors and Component Management/Review
- Experience with JAVA (code and scripting), C++, Perl, and Shell Scripting on UNIX platforms

Must have knowledge and experience in two or more of the following areas:
- Storage
- Exadata
- Networking
- Security Protocols
- Web Services
- Disk, Flash systems
- Concurrency, clustering, scalability
- Operating Systems internals
- Database internals

Compensation: 120-250K depending on experience plus options, plus numerous other benefits such as 401K.
