Manufacturing Engineer/Manager

Description:
Seeking Manufacturing Manager for an Electronics Manufacturing company. This position reports to the Director of Operations and the Operations Manager and you will be responsible for a team of engineering, test and support staff. The following functions will be performed:

- Assist production management, production operators, and customer on company processes.
- Implement world class manufacturing practices such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S to produce quality product in the most cost effective, timely manner and defect free.
- Perform and resolve manufacturing related corrective and/or preventive action analysis and/or processes.
- Prepare work instruction and/or manufacturing procedure to support manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing throughput.
- Monitor and perform statistical process control on special processes.
- Provide DFx reports to customer, when required.
- Evaluate, validate and qualify manufacturing tools, materials, equipment, and/or processes.
- Prepare capital equipment request including project description, schedule and cost.
- Provide training on internal procedures to employees within the departments.
- Conduct verbal/written warnings, performance reviews, and take disciplinary actions in a fair manner and within company policy/guideline.
- Follows all procedures related to job
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Will be hands-on and will participate in the work when necessary

Requirement:
- College degree in engineering and 3+ years experience in manufacturing, or 5+ years experience in manufacturing engineering required.
- Ability to generate statistical report required.
- Ability to perform cost analysis and line efficiency reporting of manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of Kaizen Blitz, 5S, Six Sigma, IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 preferred
- Must have hands-on experience
- Must have experience with circuit card assembly
