This is a Recruiter Assistant position where you will be trained to perform numerous functions of a recruiter. This will start out hourly and could advance to base plus commission for the right candidate. This position will start out with just 5-10 hours per week to start. It will include screening candidate applications, entering resumes into our database, adding candidates to the daily planner. <br> <br> For the right candidate, additional responsibilities will be added which include: <br>- Screen candidates for our openings and flag to contact <br>- Search for candidates through various methods including company database, job boards, social media, online tools, cold calling, networking, internet search, and referrals <br>- Call candidates, both actively seeking a job as well as potential candidates who are not actively seeking to recruit for company's openings. <br>- Interview candidates and screen for openings <br>- Submit candidates for job openings pointing out their strengths for the position <br>- Thinks outside the box to find creative ways of finding the ideal candidates for company's openings <br><br> Prefer someone with a technology background with excellent people skills. This position offers a lot of flexibility allowing one to schedule their work on mornings, afternoons, evenings and/or weekends from their home at the hours that best fit and work around family or other responsibilities. This is basically a recruiter trainee which has the potential to advance to full recruiter. Ideal for someone early or late in their career, or wishing to make a career change allowing greater flexibility and ability to work from home.

Requirement:
- Must have home office setup with fast internet connection (cable) and fast computer. <br>- Must be skilled in writing and have excellent verbal and written communications skills. <br>- Experience with internet research, analysis and follow-up. <br>- Be able to work part time to start (5-10 hours per week), but be able to increase hours to 20+ and even full-time. <br>- Should be available for from 8 to 5 Pacific time on a daily basis, and be available for occasional evening work as well. <br>- Computer literate - knowledgeable of Microsoft Office including Outlook and MS Word, social media (LinkedIN), online searching (google, etc). Knowledge of boolean searches is a plus. <br>- At least some college and/or high degree of business accumen. <br>- Must be extremely bright and quick to pick up things <br>- Detail Oriented. This is a must! <br>- Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple tasks and follow-up on a timely basis <br>- Able to manage their own time on a flexible schedule <br>- The ability to make calls in the evening or on the weekend <br>- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written <br>- Energetic personality with self-motivation and customer service orientation <br>- Responsible and reliable <br>- Must have a fast home office setup with cable (not DSL) and a recent windows operating system with a newer computer. Slow computers will not work for remote login. <br><br> A Plus: <br>- 1-2 years of inside sales or customer service <br>- Previous cold-calling experience <br>- Background in computer tools, software or programming such as HTML, web development, graphics design, SEO, etc. making it easy to grasp the technical components of this position <br><br> This position is a telecommuting position where you will work out of your home office but we prefer that you be within commuting distance to San Diego, CA. <br><br> Compensation: <br> This will start out hourly at $10 per hour.
