Job Title: Field Engineer

Seeking talented engineer interested in a field and implementation role. Company offers competitive pay, stock options, a 401K plan, health insurance, and other benefits. Primary Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support
- Arrange for demonstrations or trial installations of equipment
- Confer with customers and engineers (pre- and post-sales)
- Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs
- Project manage trial and full system implementation
- Liaise with contractors and engineering team to assure successful implementation completion
- Troubleshoot problems and assure resolution
- Travel domestically 20 - 50% of the time (to customer sites, vendor facilities, and field sales offices)

Requirement:
- BS in Engineering
- At least one year of experience in a customer support environment
- Advanced knowledge of configuring IP systems
- Experience with Linux
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and attitude
- Experience working in a team-based project environment, but also able to work independently
- Additional desired experience: development of software products or systems related to the traffic/ transportation industry or traffic engineering experience with a familiarity with the traffic industry
