Description:
Responsible for directing software engineering team in E-commerce website. You will manage software engineers, web site engineering projects, other technical personnel and leads the department's architecture efforts.

DUTIES:
- Manage resources to achieve quarterly goals and objectives
- Administer daily status meetings for different functions managed including front-end and back-end engineering of website.
- Manage the weekly stability and performance meeting.
- Manage contractors and employees
- Conduct and plan team training for developing high performance web sites
- Assist with and resolve escalated software engineering/architecture issues.
- Maintain the software architecture roadmap.
- Research and evaluate software tools, techniques, platforms and languages for consumer web sites
- Responsible for hiring, terminating, training, assigning work, evaluating work, and determining quality and quantity of work.

Requirement:
- Possession of a B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related degree.
- Graduate degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in software engineering and architecture.
- Experience in a consumer web based organization

Technical Skills:
- Web site programming and full life cycle web application development.
- Agile development processes.
- commercial mobile development.
- Technical skills including but not limited to: C#, ASP.NET, Python, Objective C, HTML5, XHTML, CSS, HAML, SASS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, SQL, relational/document oriented query languages, MVC framework and SCM.
- Skills in modeling, simulation, testing, quality assurance, usability, automation and coding.
- Skills in web site architecture design and pattern implementation.
- Skills in the management of personnel, finances, and other resources.
- Ability to develop teams, strategies, relationships and cooperation.
