Description:
Job Responsibilities:
Manage one or more projects of high complexity, or sub-projects within highly complex projects, throughout the project lifecycle. Specific project management activities include:
- Managing project scope and working with clients to develop change requests and revisions to Statements of Work where appropriate
- Facilitating project discovery and design, conducting preliminary requirements analysis and planning, and participating in the development of proposals, fee estimates, and Statements of Work
- Initiating projects, developing and communicating project plans, schedules, revisions to Statements of Work, and project charters
- Managing project execution and testing activities according to requirements, designs and solutions
- Ensuring quality delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction with the client
- Manage project profitability to ensure it maintains, or exceeds, the level it was sold
Sales Responsibilities:
Participating actively in company's sales and business development process by identifying and supporting the development of new opportunities at existing and potential new clients:
- Serving as subject matter expert at sales meetings
- Developing proposals, statements of work, presentations, and other documentation to support selling efforts
- Initiate sales opportunities by identifying specific client needs
- Network with clients and partners to identify new sales opportunities
- Work with Sales to identify areas of expansion on existing projects
- Identify areas within the organization for expansion
- Develop key relationships with Sr. Manager, Director, Vice President and Executive level client contacts
- Consistently meet yearly revenue managed goals
Requirement:
- B.A./B.S. degree in related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management best practices on projects of high complexity
- 4 or more years of relevant work experience
- Detailed IT knowledge
- Detailed enterprise software system knowledge
- Detailed SDLC knowledge
- Ability to influence others without having authority over them
- Experience leading and managing teams of people
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must posses a demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
- Should have a passion for technology
- Willing to travel up to 100% of the time
Desired:
- Previous positions at a Big 4 consulting firm, major systems integrator or similar consulting experience.
- Strong background with the major ERP/CRM packages (e.g. SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft). |
