Description:
Mobile phone applications development company, located in Incline Village, Nevada (Lake Tahoe), is seeking a Java Programming Engineer. Company is at the leading edge of mobile phone application development. Current customers include major mobile phone carriers and manufacturers. Position offers the opportunity to help create needed solutions in the mobile phone application space. Compensation commensurate with experience. Requirement:
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Object Oriented Programming
- An extensive background in Java
- In-Depth knowledge of J2ME (3-5 years), MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1, Mobile JSR API's, Java SE
- Experience with Nokia, Motorola, and Sony Ericsson SDK's
- A working knowledge of Linux, SQL, Eclipse, CVS, and Ant
- Must work well with a team and be able to add J2ME resources
- Must be able to take direction but at the same time is a self-starter
- Able to work in a fast paced, continually evolving technical environment
